Whey protein is a very effective, high-quality protein that provides all of the essential amino acids that are necessary for good health, making it an ideal part of every one’s diet. Those of us who work out with weights, draw many benefits from the consumption of this particular type of protein. Every bodybuilder knows that protein is one of the most important nutrients needed in our diet, and whey protein is the best form of it. It is a pure, natural form of protein which is derived from cow’s milk, during the process of conversion of milk into cheese, and is easily absorbed by the body. It starts too feed the muscles right away. You can go for big blue test to test your body glucose levels as well. To know more about the test and its benefits you can click on the link.

If you are not much into weight training, and are just looking for a nutritional edge, whey protein will benefit you in this respect as well. In addition to the muscle gaining benefits that it provides, it is quite singular in its ability to boost immunity by increasing the body’s own antioxidants. In other words, it acts as a catalyst in enabling the body to more effectively defend itself against illness. All of the whey protein supplements that I have used in the past (and I will list my two favorites) digest easily, mix well, and taste great.

There are two main whey protein products that I use. The first of which is Pro Complex APS (Augmented Protein System). When I first added this particular supplement to my nutrition program, I immediately noticed a decrease in my recovery time and an increase in strength levels. Pro Complex APS has everything that I need, and gives me the edge that I need in the gym. It’s fast acting whey protein which allows for immediate release of amino acids right after a hard workout, combined with slow acting egg protein for a sustained nitrogen balance which lasts for hours.

Pro Complex has added BCAAs which are essential in replenishing hard working muscles, along with 5 grams of glutamine to help speed up recovery time. I get phenomenal results with this product, getting bigger and stronger at an accelerated rate. It has a total combination of 55 grams of protein per serving, which is derived from a blend of whey and egg proteins. This is one of my favorite supplements, if not my favorite.

Another very effective product is Designer Whey Protein. Whether you’re gaining, dieting, or recovering from intense exercise, this product delivers. It’s a more basic protein product than Pro Complex APS, and although it’s great when used for the purpose of gaining muscle, it is also ideal for when you are lifting the same amount of weight for a while, and maintaining a certain size and strength level. It has a very good taste, and comes in a variety of flavors. Not only do I drink it after my workout, but I also drink it as a snack or with breakfast.

Keep in mind that you don’t have to be a bodybuilder to enjoy the benefits of a great whey protein supplement. It is a healthy addition to your diet whether you go to the gym regularly or not. Of course if your intention is to include whey protein in your diet without working out, I would suggest using one of the more basic products on the market, such as the Designer Whey Protein, as opposed to the Pro Complex APS. The latter is definitely for bodybuilders. I hope that this article helps anyone out there who wants to start pumping iron, attain better health, or maintain good health.
